THEY WERE MAKING FUN OF THE GLOUCESTER HIGH SCHOOL PREGNANCY SCANDAL. the floats start at about 2 minutes 21 seconds into the video.
Beverly Farms is a very upscale town looks like they got a kick out of making fun of Gloucester.
One float had a large black penis squirting water at all the Families watching the parade and one float was throwing condoms instead of candy. Looks like another Massachusetts scandal in the making....

There was a thing about this on the radio this morning and someone from Beverly Farm called in to say this type of parade float is a tradition on the 4th of July. The parade has 2 parts. The first is normal traditional good fun for the whole family type floats that are judged at the end. Then there is the school marching band, then the more "adult" floats. These are also judged but in a 2nd category. The girl said usually the theme of the adult floats in some way make fun of someone who did something stupid in their own town recently. But since there was no such incident, they used the Gloucester story.

Also, check out minute 5:10 of the video. A ride making fun of Amy Winehouse. Not really that interesting but shows how the entire parade is a roasting of degen's of sorts. Can we sponser a RX themed float next year. I'm sure we can come up with some good themes that no one outside of this forum would understand.
